Delete your data
Postly receives data from Meta only for the accounts you connect: your Facebook login, Pages and Instagram account, your Meta ad accounts and your WhatsApp Business Account. You decide what stays.
Three ways to delete it
- In Postly. Settings → disconnect Meta Ads, Facebook & Instagram, or WhatsApp. The stored token is deleted first. For WhatsApp you can also tick “delete conversations, messages and templates”. To delete everything, use Settings → Account → Delete my account.
- In Facebook. Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → Postly → Remove, and tick “Delete posts, photos and videos” / data deletion. Facebook then asks Postly to delete the data it received; Postly deletes it and Facebook shows you a confirmation code that you can enter on this page.
- By e-mail. Write to info@postly.media from the e-mail of your Postly account.
What is deleted
Meta logins and Page tokens; Messenger and Instagram inbox channels with their conversations; the Meta Ads connection, ad accounts, reports and ad drafts; the WhatsApp connection with its conversations, messages and templates. Your Postly account itself is kept unless you delete it in Settings. Messages already delivered to other people cannot be recalled. Details: Privacy Policy.
